Case Studies

Case Studies are meant to illustrate different aspects of  Website Promotion and the results they yield. Specific Goals require different approaches resulting in different results.

Case Study 1 (Activity Company)

Goal: Send more traffic to a new site when users searched in Google for specific keywords.
Approach: Run a Google Adwords campaign for the right keywords, while optimizing costs.

Result: Traffic to the site increased dramatically, while the quality of visits (CTR) was maintained. This resulted in an overall ROI of over 200%.

 

Case Study 2 (Retailer)

Goal: To keep visitors to the site looking at more content and staying on the site longer. This is known as making the site  “sticky”.
Approach: Re write content and change the navigation to help take users to other pages in the site the client wanted them to see.

Result: With 10% less visits to the site overall for this period of time visitors spent more time on a page by 99%, visited pages increased 137% and the average visitor viewed more pages by 55%. Case Study 3 (Online Retailer)

Goal: To make customers aware of a special on Shipping fees for a particular shipping zone.
Approach: Run an Ad campaign targeted to the specific shipping zone and send users to a landing page with the discounted rates explained.

Result: The landing page was seen 997% more times than the previous month when no ad was running, it accounted for 2.16% of the total landing pages visitors went to when first reaching the site. This was an increase of 361%. The home page, normally the most  targeted landing page saw an increase of 68% in total pageviews, while accounting for 30% less of the overall percentage of landing pages the intended result.

 

Case Study 4 (Real Estate Company)

Goal: Send visitors to a  new site (launched one month prior) showcasing one particular property while keeping them on the site to search for other properties.
Approach: Ad campaigns (via Facebook and Google) were used to send targeted vistiors to the site. Landing pages were created that showcased  the property. Content was re written to make the site “sticky”.

Result: The custom “Landing Page” for the  property (Makena Estate) made up 36% of the total pages visited first.  25% more than the home page! Overall traffic rose exponentially and the site received over 1,000% more Unique Views and Pageviews than the first month after it’s luanch.
